The owners wanted the logo to reflect this ocean location in a unique way. The Oyster Catcher sea bird is a frequent visitor to the rocky shoreline that is just steps from Sea Cure House. Foraging, dipping, and flying short distances, they stand out with their bright orange bill and legs. They are a special and unusual sighting. And it is just as unusual to find one of these sea birds featured in a commercial logo. Frequent birds that one sees are sea gulls, pelicans or sand pipers. The choice of the Oyster Catcher is as unique as the beautiful home that was designed for large gatherings and retreats. The deep blue color and simple wave elements communicate water beautifully. --------- |
